Looking at the soaring adoption rate of cloud, there is no mistake where the industry is headed. Statista, a leading provider of market and consumer data, reports that global spending on Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is predicted to increase from $19.1B in 2017 to $28.8B in 2028.
With technology at the heart of most companies, and cloud investments on the rise, demand for systems engineers, solutions architects, business analysts, and other digital technology talent is in demand. While companies seek top tech talent, individuals with technology skills want to work somewhere they can keep current and develop new skills.
So where is tech talent going in the Infor eco-system? Many are flocking to systems integration firms. Lots of senior-level Infor (Lawson) finance and supply chain professionals have been in the industry for a long time and, with the introduction of Infor CloudSuite Financials and Supply Management, are seeing new requirements, workflows, system integration and design. The opportunity is there for IT professionals wanting to reinvigorate their work experience, learn new skills, and advance to the next level of their career.
We’ve waited for this day
Avaap’s senior technology professionals know Infor (Lawson) inside and out and have the project and deep industry experience to prove it. Whether entering the field when Lawson was on version 7, 8, 9, or 10, the Lawson application has maintained its core code base and consistent look, feel, and functionality since the mid-seventies.
The introduction of Infor CloudSuite in 2016 has put every Lawson professional on the path of discovery, learning, and re-inventing their own knowledge and experience. Avaap was an early investor in building a CloudSuite team, and brought the first healthcare customer (Palos Health) live on the software in an efficient nine months.
Behind the customer success was a team bonded by deep passion for Lawson software and daily interaction working closely with Infor development to learn new enterprise architecture, methodologies, and integration requirements. Most valued was the environment for the team to learn and lean on each other as professionals.
Personal bonds, professional growth
What made bringing the first Infor healthcare customer live on CloudSuite Financials and Supply Management exciting was sharing our collective knowledge and the experience as a team. We value the legacy technology, but we aspire to growth, personally and professionally.
We are excited for those who want to join us on the next phase of the professional journey as we navigate the new frontier of CloudSuite Financials and Supply Management. Avaap continues to invest in growing the team and welcoming like-minded professionals who are dedicated to deepening their knowledge and experience in Infor CloudSuite delivery.
Our goal is making our service offering the very best, while at the same time achieving personal success and growth as individuals and leaders in the Infor (Lawson) community. Learning is ever present, just as changes are in the application. The future looks bright as we work to build a new breed of technology consultants and transform our ability to operate in the new world of multi-tenancy and constant change.
