The Challenge
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine declared a state of emergency in Ohio regarding the Coronavirus in March 2020 with just three confirmed cases. Fast-forward two weeks and the stay-at-home order was in effect. Three days later, the interactive Coronavirus dashboard was introduced.
Key Highlights
GOVERNMENT TRANSPARENCY AND DATA-DRIVEN DECISION-MAKING
The dashboards, delivered through Tableau, provide residents with answers and transparency to data in an easy-to-use format. The dashboard breaks down each county in the state by cases, hospitalizations, and deaths, and has filter options for race and ethnicity.
A STRONG ANALYTICS PLATFORM FOR A STRONG STATE
Avaap is proud to partner with the State of Ohio on the InnovateOhio Platform, which set the groundwork and allowed for fast action in standing up the Coronavirus dashboards.
