EDISON, N.J. (June 20, 2016) – Avaap, the fastest growing Infor-focused IT services and software development firm, announced today that Prime Healthcare Services, one of the nation’s leading health systems, has completed a three-suite implementation of Infor Lawson Version 10 along with Infor Global HR. This includes talent management and performance management in ten hospitals within the Prime Healthcare network.
Infor Lawson is a comprehensive enterprise business management suite designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of key organizational functions in financial management, human capital management, procurement, and analysis. The deployment addresses Prime Healthcare’s need for standardization across its financial, supply chain and human resource functions, as well as integration with EPIC, its core EHR solution. This will serve as a model for future rollouts and continuous improvement across the Prime Healthcare hospital network.
With 43 hospitals in Prime Healthcare’s portfolio, standardizing on Infor Lawson will enable Prime to streamline business processes and reduce time and costs while providing greater visibility into opportunities to enhance patient care. The successful go-live implementation, led by Avaap, delivers core functionality and tools to help staff focus on critical tasks.
The trend of healthcare systems acquiring smaller community hospitals can create technology burdens. This includes managing multiple systems and vendors, lack of data integration, duplication of effort, and legacy systems that are unable to keep pace with demands. Infor Lawson industry-specific software, in combination with Avaap’s project management and technical skills, provides a platform and standard implementation methodology that can be replicated across the network to support future growth and lean operations.
“We are proud to have been selected as Prime’s partner, creating a technology foundation that connects business strategy to operational execution, optimizes and aligns resources, and provides greater visibility into financial, supply chain and talent management activities,” said Adam Goldstein, vice president, Products and Services at Avaap. “The multi-suite Infor Lawson implementation was completed in a tight timeline, helping Prime meet its aggressive go-live plan and accelerate time to value from their Infor technology investment.”
“Avaap delivered a solution tailored for our business processes that meets our need for standardization and enables advanced functionality for employee self-service, mobile supply chain and automated requisition and approval workflows,” said Raghu Chennareddy, Director, Corporate IT at Prime Healthcare Services. “We’ve already experienced benefits. With greater insight across the organization, we anticipate controlling overall expenditures at the hospital level, and this ultimately allows us to continue providing exceptional patient care.”
