Avaap’s Analyst Development Program is a two-year program focusing on the development of fundamental consulting skills and fully integrating participants into our culture and core processes. The program will onboard highly visible cohorts each year who will develop depth in one product or service area and awareness across a variety of Avaap’s services.
The program is broken out into four “halves” over two years, with each “half” lasting approximately 20 weeks and focused on helping the newest cohort get up-to-speed as quickly as possible. Each cohort’s role evolves over time in order to support personal growth and newer cohorts’ learning.
Take credit for your abilities and increase your chances of being noticed by your network and potential employers by displaying your badge over LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and other online destinations. For an analyst program role, you are required to reside in Columbus, Ohio, for your first year of work. After your first year, depending on Business Unit leadership approval, you may relocate.
All roles in our analyst program are of a hybrid variety during your first year of employment, and you will be expected to come into the Columbus headquarters every Thursday. This excludes your onboarding period, which will be fully in-person for your first two weeks. These two weeks in-office will give you the opportunity to learn more about the fundamentals of consulting, and help you acclimate to the different teams within Avaap.
The analyst program is two years, but your employment with Avaap continues when you complete the program.
Available positions in our analyst program depend on the need within each business unit, however, we typically offer analysts opportunities in our Data & Analytics and Workday practices. There can be various consulting roles for candidates with interests in Data Visualization, Data Engineering, Workday Finance, Workday Human Capital Management, Workday Technical in Integrations, Data Conversion, and Reporting.
Going through the analyst program at Avaap gives new graduates an opportunity to transition more smoothly into working a full-time job. Your first two weeks in the program will be filled with consulting fundamentals training, followed by studying for certifications in your specific field. This could be Tableau, Alteryx, StreamSets, or Workday FIN and Workday HCM. The program allows you to not only become a great asset to Avaap itself, but helps you expand your skill sets.
Avaap’s headquarter office, based in Columbus, Ohio, has more than 200 employees local to the area. Analysts come into the office every Thursday and have many opportunities to meet people across the entire organization, including frequent touch bases with practice leadership.
No. Consulting intern programs are inherently tricky due to the nature of our business. Given the strain on existing resources and Avaap’s preference to focus new investments on existing, full-time employees, there is no plan to hire consulting interns in the foreseeable future.
